Cute Little Birds Picking Through The Sand Royalty-Free Stock Image

These tiny birds are sanderling, which are a species of sandpipers. These adorable birds are picking through the specks of sand on this beach for little organisms to eat. The frothy white waves come in to deliver a replenished set options. The long black beaks help to sort through the grains. These birds work together for a meal and for protection. I love their little white bellies with the darker top feathers that seem to camouflage them in the sand. They almost seem to blend in. This picture was taken at Sunset beach in Cape May New Jersey.
