Pictured is the Basilica of Saint Stephen, a complex of religious edifices in the city of Bologna, Italy. It is located on Saint Stephen Square. Locally it is known as Seven Churches and Holy Jerusalem. According to tradition Saint Petronius, a bishop of the city during the 5th century and patron saint of Bologna, built the basilica over the temple of the goddess Isis. The saint wished to have a building that recalled the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
