Dumesti is a village in Salciua commune in Alba county, Transylvania. The village is located on a hilltop on which the shepherds built, many years ago, their summer houses made of logs and wooden planks covered with straw roofs. From this hilltop, charming panoramas are revealed towards the village and the surrounding picturesque peaks.
