Bankside Lofts building is on the South Bank next to the River Thames, London #286403038
Description
London Bridge and the infamous Borough Market can be found nearby, and many further attractions along the South Bank, including Royal Festival Hall, The BFI, and Tate Modern. There is an excellent art bookshop on the ground floor of the building and various private art galleries nearby, several good food and coffee shops. Bankside Lofts was completed between 1995-1998 by the award-winning architect Piers Gough in collaboration with the Manhattan Loft Corporation. Positioned on the site of a former Victorian cocoa warehouse, this striking yellow ochre tower is predominantly glass-fronted. The units were sold as 'shells' so no lofts are the same.
