Description
Pictured is the main Altar of the 11th century Romanesque church of St. Vincent in Gravedona on Lake Como. Of the original church, there remains only the crypt, supported by 30 marble columns. In the 17th century the main church was radically reconstructed. The painter Carlo Carloni did the alterpiece of the Glory of St. Vincent in 1735.
