Florist kalanchoe (Kalanchoe blossfeldiana) is a herbaceous and commonly cultivated house plant of the genus Kalanchoe native to Madagascar. Its other common names are Christmas kalanchoe, Flaming Katy and Madagascar widow's-thrill. It is a bushy, evergreen and perennial succulent plant with green, shiny and textured glossy foliage that stay green all year round. Its flowers have four petals and can be in wide variety of colors, from the dark red and pink to orange, gold and white.
