Description
Sowing of wheat takes place in October to December and harvesting is during February to May. The Indo-Gangetic plains in India are the most conducive area in India for growing wheat. The cool winters and the hot summer are the perfect condition for a good wheat crop. Wheat is typically milled into flour which is then used to make a wide range of foods that we eat everyday. These foods include bread, muffins, pasta, biscuits, cakes, pastries, cereal bars, snack foods, crackers, sauces and confectionery such as licorice!
