Layangan janggan #287808859
Description
Balinese traditional janggan kites are closely related to coastal and agricultural culture. The Balinese, said Kadek, play kites after the harvest season as an expression of gratitude to the gods and goddesses they call Rare Angon who have provided crops and fertile soil. This culture is reflected in the three forms of traditional Balinese kites, namely the bebean which looks like a fish, the pecukan which looks like a leaf, and the janggan which is an association of the pecukan with a tail like a dragon. Janggan is the most famous type.
