Meravelles Caves Located In The Town Of Benifallet In The Bajo Ebro Region, Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain Stock Photo

It is a set of six caves, of which two are enabled for tourist visits: Cueva del Dos and Cueva Meravelles. The first, with the two mouths that give it its name, has a distance of 253 m, with a drop of 12 m. Its great room stands out in which we find formations such as columns and banners. The Meravelles cave, discovered in 1968, has a length of 510 m along which you can see abundant stalactites, stalagmites, gigantic columns, castings, macaroni, gours and a large number of eccentrics. The visit lasts 45 minutes and is guided. Benifallet is a Spanish municipality and town in the province of Tarragona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. Belonging to the Bajo Ebro region, it has a population of 739 inhabitants.
