Chitkul The Last Village Of India Stock Image

The last village in India, Chitkul, is located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on the right bank of the Baspa River. Chitkul is a little challenging to get to because of its elevation, which is around 11,319 feet. The river boasts a beautiful view of snow-covered mountains on one side and a landscape with apple orchards and wooden homes on the other. The area is completely blanketed with snow for most of the year.
