The Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco is a very residential neighborhood with an almost old world suburban charm,like this grocery store. The area was part of the land grant originally awarded Jose Cornelio Bernal in 1839. Because of the bedrock of the area,many displaced San Franciscans after the 1906 Earthquake moved to this then still sparsely populated area. As seen 30 August 2023.
