Description

The Kerstensche Pavillon is located on the Aachener Lousberg. Although the pavilion, designed in the 18th century by Johann Josef Couven, was originally built as a garden house for a wealthy patrician family, it was decided in 1905 to move it, grilles, external stairs, wall fountain and all, to the Lousberg. The sloping site fits perfectly into the architectural concept of the building, creating a harmonious whole with the Lousberg.
