Grumpy #28966
Description
This Clark's Anemonefish was taken on a dive in Truk (Chuuk). Rather than trying to hide in her anemone, this little clown was behaving rather aggressively towards me...most likely protecting eggs. So, I took one shot...thanked her...and was on my way. The size of the anemonefish, or clownfish as they are commonly called, was about 5 in length. This species is in a family called Damselfish. The fish have developed the ability to live among the stinging tentacles of large sea anemones. Equipment used was a housed Nikon N90s, 105mm lens, and Ikelite Substrobe 200.
