44th Annual Haight Ashbury Street Fair 2023 San Francisco 13 Editorial Photo

Since April 1978,to celebrate the revitalization of the Haight Ashbury after the slump after the Summer of Love in 1967,an annual street party has been held to reaffirm the spirit of The Summer of Love with 'Peace Love and Happiness' bringing everyone together in a positive way. After that first one when it was held in April,it was alway held in June,until last year when it was moved to September,on second Sunday. There were all the usual booths of local artist and shops,face paintings and lots of dancing and skateboarding and music and an all around free party atmosphere to be enjoyed.
