McMorry Lagan Houses And Barn Lower Haight Street San Francisco 2 Royalty-Free Stock Photo

These two separate homes,the McMorry and Lagan houses with a barn on the Laguna Street side of the McMorry house,are from the 1880's and both are still almost completely unchanged both inside and out since,including the barn,only for modern electircification. During the fire storm caused by the earthquake of 1906,solders from the Presidio took over the barn and ordered the families out,for their own safety. Luckily the fire was finally stopped just two blocks to the east. It's been reported that blankets used by the army while there are still in the barn. When these building received their Historic Designations in 1983,they were still owned by the original families,so please be respectful. As seen 18 September 2023.
