Description
Pazhou Pagoda(Whampoa Pagoda), located in Pazhou, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, was built in the 28th year of Wanli (1600) of the Ming Dynasty. The Pazhou Pagoda is close to the the Pearl River. It is an octagonal pavilion, built with black bricks. It has a 9-level appearance, 17 floors inside, and a height of more than 50 meters. It is one of the eight sights of Eight Sights of Guangzhou in the Qing Dynasty, and has the reputation of "Pazhou pillar".
