Pictured is a monumental bronze elk at the entrance to Washington Irving Memorial Park and Arboretum in Bixby, Oklahoma. The elk was created by acclaimed wildlife sculptor Stephen LeBlanc of Littleton, Colorado. The monument is a gift from the Tulsa nonprofit NatureWorks in 2014 and is the 25th monument erected through the NatureWorks monument program. NatureWorks mission is to preserve and protect Oklahoma wildlife and their habitats.
