Description
The male Ceriagration auranticum has green compound eyes, a yellow red or yellow green chest, and a thin, orange red abdomen. The female Ceriagrio aurantium has a green or greenish brown chest and a dark brown abdomen. Ceriagrion aurantium is petite in size, both male and female, and its wings are upright and close above the back during rest. Ceriagration auranticum is accustomed to inhabiting flowing streams, mountain valleys, or stagnant ponds, lakes, and other water bodies. Due to its weak flight ability, it often operates in water bodies with abundant water and grass. Mainly distributed in temperate climate zones, rarely distributed in tropical regions.
