Description
The red-capped manakin is a small passerine bird. The male is velvety black apart from a bright red head and nape, bright yellow thighs, and a pale yellow chin and wing linings. The Gilpin Trace Trail offers one of the best experiences hiking on the Caribean Island Tobago. The Main Ridge Forest Reserve is the Western Hemisphere's oldest protected forest. The Main Ridge mountain range runs through the spine of the island, and is covered with tropical rainforest.
