Description
The jar was excavated from Tomb No. 1 at Jiuliandun, Zaoyang, in 2002. This tomb is dated to the Warring States period, which was a time of great political and cultural upheaval in China. The jar is a valuable example of the bronze casting techniques that were used during this period.The jar is currently on display at the Hubei Provincial Museum in Wuhan, China.
