This tower was first mentioned in 13th century and it served as clock tower for the Castle of Kremnica in the past. Now there is museum with various expositions based in this tower. Kremnica is well-preserved medieval town built above important gold mines. Kremica town is aspiring to be inscribed in the UNESCO List of Natural and Cultural Heritage list.
