Feral cat (Felis catus) or stray cats are un-owned domestic cats living outdoors and avoiding humans and usually remaining aloof and are most active after dusk. They do not allow themselves to be handled or touched, and usually remain hidden from humans. They often become an aggressive apex predator in urban, savannah and bushland environments. Some may become more comfortable with people who regularly feed them.
