The most important monument in Ardales is the Church of Our Lady of los Remedios (Nuestra Señora de los Remedios). The original church was constructed in the 16th century over a mezquita. A new church was constructed over the old one in 1720, and it has Mudejar architecture. The façade has the Baroque style and there are stairs leading to the main doorway. The façade has been attributed to Diego Antonio Diaz, an architect from Seville. There is a niche above the main doorway. The bell tower has a square shape, is made of brick and the top is decorated with beautiful green tiles. The tower was built at the end of the 18th century by the Seville architect Antonio Matias de Figueroa. The interior has three naves that are separated by thick columns on square bases. The main nave has a wooden ceiling in the Mudejar style. There is an octagonal vault at the presbytery. The main altarpiece has the image of the Virgen de Villaverde, made of polychromed wood, and she is the patron saint of the town. The side chapels pertain to the Virgen del Rosario, the Cristo de la Sangre, and San Isidro.
