Title
Rock outcrop at a Bighorn Mountains camping area #299449687
Description
Rocky remnants along the road to a primitive camp ground in the Bighorn Mountains in Northern Wyoming on a mostly clear sunny day in early September. Western pines cover the alpine regions along with spruce and fir trees. Snow accumulates in the winter and provides moisture to support timber growth. Highest elevations are bare rock outcrops which slowly erode to form soils. Large campers and camper trailers are able to park and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the area.
