In the most prosperous place of Wanhua District in Taipei, Xintomi Town was an administrative district of Taipei City during the Japanese colonial period in Taiwan. It was divided into 1 to 5 chomes. It is roughly east of Longshan Temple and is one of the old streets in Taipei. There is Wanhua Station within its jurisdiction. . After the war, it was divided into Longshan District and Shuangyuan District, and its scope included Guangzhou Street, Kangding Road, Heping West Road and other areas in Wanhua District, Taipei City today.
