Description
Little Bunting (Emberiza pusilla) is an animal of the genus Emberiza in the Bunting family. Weight 11-17g Body length 115-150 mm. Is a small songbird. The beak is conical, thinner than that of finches, and the upper and lower beak edges are not tightly fitted but slightly curved inward, so there is a slight gap in the fit line. Body feathers like sparrows, the outer tail feathers have more white. The male has a red chestnut head with summer feathers. The lateral line of the head and the posterior margin of the auriculae are black, the rest of the upper body is roughly sandy brown, and the back has dark brown longitudinal lines. Lower body white, chest and two sides with black longitudinal lines. Female and male winter plumage light, no black lateral line.
