Title
Bald Eagle drying out his wet feathers #300196245
Description
Bald Eagles secrete oil through a gland near the tailbone, and when theyâre preening theyâll reach back and get some oil from that gland and disperse it through their feathers. This is why you'll see the water droplets roll right off the wings. Eagles stretch out their wings instinctually to dry off after a rain or catching prey in river or lake.
