Description
The Renaissance chateau Stablovice u Opavy from the west side (together with the church of St. Lawrence from 1603 and the current appearance from 1854-1860).It was rebuilt from a fortress and later a manor house into a Baroque chateau by Karel Frantisek Lescourant. In 1744, the fief of Stablovice with the castle was taken over by Karel Otto Count Salm - Neuburg. In 1759-1771 it was acquired by marriage by Maxmilian Jindrich Sobek of Kornice. The Sobek - Skal family of Kornice owned the chateau until the end of World War II.
