Gabriela Szabo (born November 14, 1975, Bistrita) is a world-class athlete from Romania, now retired from the sport. He was appointed, in 1999, the best athlete in the world and the best sport in Europe. He set world record in 2,000 m in 1998, and to 5,000 m in 1999, in Dortmund.
