Description
Water spills from the dam on the Snake River which backs up water to form Jackson Lake. Rushing water continues to flow toward Idaho from the mountains of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. The peaks of Mount Moran and Grand Teton can just be seen over the top edge of the dam. Large rocks have been placed to line the shore to prevent erosion. Some haze from smoke from Canadian wildfires can be seen lining the horizon. Under a clear blue sky in early September.
