Description
Majestic Grand Teton mountain from just below the trail which runs along cottonwood creek at the base of the mountain. The tallest peak in the Teton Range it is the highlight of Grand Teton National Park. The slopes are dotted with meadows and timber up till the height of about 10,000 feet after which only rock falls and cliffs occur. Puffy white clouds skim across the blue sky on an early September day. Some snow can be seen at the highest elevations.
