Description
Charleston's City Hall building was constructed in the 1800's in the Adamesque style. It's semi-circular projection and round basement windows are characteristic features of architect Gabriel Manigault. The city motto is engraved in an insignia at top of the building: Aedes Mores Juraque Curat: She guards her buildings, customs and laws.
