He won 3 Emmys and an additional Lifetime Achievement Emmy for hosting the brilliant tv show on Sundays from 1994 until 2016. His style was low-key, but witty and distinctive. Occasionally he supplied clever rhymes and he was an accomplished pianist, showing off his skills, particular at holiday times. Osgood died at his home in Saddle Brook, New Jersey on January 23, 2024, from dementia at 91.
