Sandhill Cranes In The Afternoon Sun Royalty-Free Stock Photo

Flock of Sandhill Cranes take flight in the afternoon sun over eastern Indiana, near the Goose Pond Wildlife area in early December. Golden sunlight reflects from their bodies , and enhances the muted brown and gold colors embedded in their feathers. The weather was bright but with some misty haze coming up from the many lakes and ponds in the area with some clouds coming in from the west.
