This is huge brick beehive domed kiln Furnace, or oven, from the late 1800s to the early 1900s that is in Decatur Alabama USA. It has a series of fireplaces all around the exterior wall to back the bricks. It began operation in 1897. This is the vent hole in the roof of the kiln.
