Semnopithecus is a genus of Old World monkeys native to the Indian subcontinent, with all species with the exception of two being commonly known as gray langurs. Daulatabad Fort originally Deogiri Fort, is a historic fortified citadel located in Daulatabad village near Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. The fortress, located in and around a large rock outcropping, was so impregnable that it was never taken by force.
