Title
Weddell Seal resting on the snow, Antarctic Peninsula #307046024
Description
Weddell seals are good divers, feeding on a variety of benthic fish, squid, octopus and krill. After diving and feeding they return to the ice or snow covered land areas to rest often sleeping for several hours. Their song is out-worldly and they sing both on land and underwater to attract mates and challenge other breeding males
