Located at the southern edge of Ximending, Wanhua No. 406 Plaza was originally the Nishi Honganji Temple. It is a complex of buildings full of Japanese style. The styles of most major buildings are derived from the eclectic practices that often appeared in Japanese Buddhism in the 18th and 19th centuries. In terms of style, the main hall, imperial temple, library, and bell tower are all basically in an eclectic style, while the rimsho is a traditional Japanese residential style the Shushin Kaikan reflects the spirit of the new era, using a combination of brick structure and Western-style wooden roof trusses, and the roof remains the same. Japanese style.
