Plectranthus Monostachyus, Beautiful Flowering Wild Plant Royalty-Free Stock Image

This species is a native plant from Tropical Africa and has naturalized outside its original distribution area. This plant is a popular local food and traditional medicine. It is often harvested from the wild and is sometimes also cultivated as an ornamental deciduous plant. Because of these taxonomic problems, different names are often used for the same Plectranthus species and it is therefore difficult to gather information on the ethnobotanical uses of this genus.
