Astronomical Clock In Clusone Stock Photography

Astronomical clock placed in the medieval tower of municipal building in Clusone (Bergamo). With only one needle it shows (because also the three concentric circles turn):hours, days, months, signs of the zodiac, sun and moon position and the duration of the light and dark hours. It turns in anticlockwise. It was realized in 1583 by Pietro Fanzago and it works actually with its original mechanism. It is one of the few still working today
