Portrait of the Postman Joseph Roulin (1841–1903)Vincent van Gogh #309590467
Description
In terms of style, van Gogh fits most among the fauvists, expressionists, and partly among early abstraction. With his innovative conception of reality, he became one of the main undertakers of Impressionism and, from an artistic point of view, significantly influenced the art of the first half of the 20th century. With the will to express his own feelings, he involuntarily became one of the founders of the emerging art direction - post-impressionism.
