Masjid Omar Salmah is a heritage mosque with unique architectural features of a Kampung Mosque that invokes the nostalgic ambience of a rural setting not easily found in urbanized Singapore. Masjid Omar Salmah was built in 1973/74 on elevated grounds surrounded by shady trees in Kampong Jantai along Jalan Mashhor. The mosque can accommodate up to 500 people for prayers.
