Title
railway bridge on the perebel river in topilo #311162682
Description
The reservoir was built on the Perebel River. Although artificial, it looks very natural, like the wildest lake. And the village is like a sleepy settlement. In the pine forest on the square between the shop and the narrow-gauge railway station, there are buttermilk and... saffron mushrooms. There are countless mushrooms in the forest.Toppilo was founded as one of many settlements of forest workers. The forest was exploited using a narrow-gauge railway launched by the Germans during World War I: the Bia?owie?a Forest Forest Railway. The tracks led to Hajnówka and wood was transported along them. The lake was used to store and preserve wood during the winter. They were created in the interwar period, in the 1930s.
