Bruarhlod canyon on the Hvita River, a shortly from Gullfoss waterfall in the Hrunamannahrepp area of Iceland #311169717
Description
Once upon a time there was a peasant called Gygur who lived in Gygjarholl. He had a lot of gold, and he could not bear the thought of anyone else having it after his lifetime. To prevent this, he put the gold in a chest and threw it into a waterfall - it has been called Gullfoss ever since.
