A pair of ornate flintlock pistols presented by Napoleon Bonaparte to the Russian Emperor Alexander I in June 1807 at the conclusion of the Peace of Tilsit. Made in France, Versailles, circa 1805. Master Nicolas-Noël Boutet. Exhibited in the State Hermitage Museum. Saint-Petersburg, Russia
