Description
Viburnum hanceanum Maxim. is a shrub belonging to the family Ficus and the genus Viburnum, with a height of up to 2 meters. At that time, the small branches, petioles, and total flower stalks were covered with fluff composed of yellow brown or rust colored clustered hairs. The biennial small branches were purple brown, with papery leaves that were round, ovate, nearly circular, or elliptical, sometimes obovate. The cymes were corymbose shaped, with sparse flowers resembling butterflies, and 2-5 white, relatively large infertile flowers on the periphery The yellow white small flower in the middle is a fertile flower, and the fruit is ovoid and red. The flowering period is from April to May. Distributed in southern Jiangxi, Fujian, Hunan, central to northern Guangdong, and Guangxi, it grows in valleys, streams, or shrubs at an altitude of 200-800 meters.
