Description
Queen's Church HatshepsutHatshepsut was the wife of Thutmose II. And after his death, Egypt first ruled as a regent for the juvenile Thutmos III, but soon declared himself a pharaoh and ruled Egypt for 15 years (1498 - 1483 BC). Egypt during the reign of Hatshepsut had a period of prosperity. Hatshepsut took advantage of this and began with her architect Senenmut with the construction of a terrace temple, whose individual terraces were connected by oblique ramps. The Hatshepsut stiff temple was called "Jeser-Jser" (the most sacred of the sacred) and lies exactly in the extension of the axis of Queen Hatshepsut, which is in the valley of the Kings.
