California Common Dandelion Silver Tufts #314341526
Description
The common dandelion is well known for its yellow flower heads that turn into round balls of many silver-tufted fruits that disperse in the wind. Dandelion pollen is of poor nutritional quality for honey bees, bees readily consume it, and it can be an important source of nutritional diversity in heavily managed monocultures such as that of blueberries.
