Carpinteria A Growing Heritage mural #314535372
Description
The California coastal community of Carpinteria has always been an important agricultural center, not just for the surrounding Santa Barbara County but the whole of the United States. It was right here that the lima bean was first planted anywhere, then shipped everywhere in the country. Later came lemons and oranges, then avocado. Carpinteria native and self taught artist John Wullbrandt is showing this agricultural history with his latest mural Carpinteria Valley A Growing Heritage. Using a series of ten panels that cover the forty foot long wall of the Christian building, his work can now be found all around the world. As enjoyed 3 April 2024.
