The Canals of Amsterdam #31477798
Description
Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, has been called The Venice of the North because of the more than 100 km of canals that form concentric circles around the city. The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010.
